advocacy

influencing policy, accounting and financial reporting issues affecting financial executives from K Street to Wall Street

FEI’s advocacy efforts include the activities of our national advocacy committees as well as those of our government affairs staff (specifically located in Washington, DC at 1825 K Street, NW, Suite 510) and accounting policy staff (located at FEI headquarters in NJ). The staff are involved in information gathering and dissemination on a range of public policy and regulatory issues affecting financial executives such as: corporate and pass through taxation; accounting/auditing standards and financial reporting; finance and information technology; pensions and health care; government contracting, energy, international trade, the federal budget and economic policy.

The staff is dedicated to educating and affecting change on behalf of our members on the key issues of the day impacting their businesses.
