Hans Hoogervorst Named IASB Chair, Ian Macintosh Named Vice-Chair
On Oct. 12, 2010 the IFRS Foundation (formerly called the IASCF) named Hans Hoogervorst chairman of the IASB, to succeed Sir David Tweedie in that role when Sir David retires at the end of June, 2011. Additionally, the IFRS Foundation named Ian Macintosh Vice Chairman.

IASCF Amends Constitution; Provides Update On Funding, Role Of Convergence
On Feb. 15, 2010 the IASCF announced governance enhancements contained in amendments to its Constition, effective March 1, 2010. The IASCF has also posted a funding update. Separately, the chairman of the IASCF provided a response to a recent report in the Financial Times regarding convergence.
