On January 10, 2011, CGB sent a letter to the Department of Defense regarding DFARS Case 2009-D038 which proposes new rules and regulations impacting contractors’ business systems. Specifically, the Committee provided commentary on the proposed rule’s criteria for accounting systems and the possibility of the U.S. Government withholding payments on contractors.
