Mid-Year FASB Update, Webcast June 23

The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) is hosting a webcast on June 23, 2008 from 2:00-3:00 pm EDT entitled “Mid-Year FASB Update.”

Among topics to be covered on the webcast are: recent activities impacting joint FASB/International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) projects, FASB projects to revise FAS 140 and FIN 46R and issues specific to private companies and not-for-profit organizations.

Panelists include: FASB Board Member George Batavick, FASB Director Russ Golden and FASB Project Manager Jeffrey Mechanick. Additionally, Judy O’Dell, chair of the FASB-AICPA Joint Private Company Financial Reporting Committee (PCFRC), will appear on the panel, which will be moderated by Dennis Chookaszian, chair of the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council (FASAC).
