IASB Appoints Two New Board Members

On May 20, 2009 the International Accounting Standards Board announced the appointment of two new board members: Patrick Finnegan, Director of the Financial Reporting Policy Group, CFA Institute Centre for Financial Market Integrity), and Patricia McConnell, former Senior Managing Director, Equity Research, Accounting and Tax Policy Analyst, Bear Stearns & Co.

Finnegan and McConnell replace board members Tom Jones and Mary Barth, who are retiring from the IASB board at the end of June. Details are in this IASB press release.
