FEI To Participate In FASB Forum On High Quality Standards, June 16

Financial Executives International (FEI) President and CEO Michael P. Cangemi is among the panelists participating in the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) and the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB forum on “High-Quality Global Accounting Standards: Issues and Implications for U.S. Financial Reporting.” The forum will take place on Monday, June 16 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm and it will be webcast. FEI member Andy Thrower, a member of FASB's Small Business Advisory Committee, and a member of FEI's Committee on Private Companies - standards subcommittee, is also among the panelists.

Judy O'Dell, chair of the FASB-AICPA Private Company Financial Reporting Committee will also participate, as well as a host of panelists from government and private sector organizations, listed here.

FEI recently hosted a sold-out conference on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), "The World is Moving to IFRS - Are You?" -at which U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Director of the Division of Corporation Finance gave the keynote address. FEI also recently announced the formation of the Corporate Roundtable on International Financial Reporting (CFIFR).
