SEC Seeking Candidates for Office of the Chief Accountant's Professional Accounting Fellow Program 2009-11
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has begun its annual search to identify qualified candidates for the Office of the Chief Accountant’s Professional Accounting Fellow (PAF) program for 2009-11. The PAF program provides an intense experience in addressing and resolving contemporary domestic and international accounting, financial reporting and auditing issues.
Candidates must have significant experience in U.S. generally accepted accounting principles; International Financial Reporting Standards; International Standards on Auditing; internal control over financial reporting under Section 404 of The Sarbanes-Oxley Act; and/or experience in analyzing and implementing auditing, independence and quality controls standards.
The attached document provides further details on the available positions as well as the application process. Applications must be submitted directly to the chief accountant on or before Jan. 16, 2009.
