Karl von der Heyden , Ulyesse LeGrange Named As Inductees To FEI's 5th Hall Of Fame

FEI Announces 2010 Hall of Fame Inductees

Financial Executives International, the association of choice for CFOs and other senior-level financial executives, today announced that Karl M. von der Heyden, former vice chairman of the board of directors and chief financial officer of PepsiCo. Inc., and Ulyesse J. LeGrange, retired senior vice president and chief financial officer of ExxonMobil Corp.'s U.S. Oil and Gas Operations, have been selected as inductees for the 2010 class of the FEI Hall of Fame.

Karl M. von der Heyden served as vice chairman of PepsiCo's board of directors until 2001. His professional career with PepsiCo dates back to 1974, when he served in various management positions until 1980. He rejoined the company in 1996 to serve as vice chairman and chief financial officer, during which time he led PepsiCo through several important transactions. From 1980, he held a number of leadership positions, including chief financial officer and a director at the H.J. Heinz Co. (from 1980-89), CFO and director (from 1989-93) and in 1993 co-chairman and chief executive officer at RJR Nabisco and president and chief executive officer at Metallgesellschaft Corp. from 1993-94.

 

 

Ulyesse J. LeGrange, the retired senior vice president and chief financial officer of ExxonMobil Corp.'s U.S. Oil and Gas Operations, had a distinguished 40-year career with the company. He began at Exxon as a clerical employee at its Baton Rouge Refinery and worked his way up, holding numerous positions in the United States and London, including president of Exxon Pipeline Co. and vice president and controller of Exxon Corp.

Throughout his professional career, LeGrange held many industry leadership positions, and notably as chairman of the American Petroleum Institute Finance Division, board member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and chairman of the audit committee. He also served as president of FEI's Houston Chapter from 1987-88.
