FAS 168
A recent inquiry from one FEI member prompted this response from Cheryl Graziano, VP Financial Research and Accounting Policy.
Question: I am looking to know if FASB have delayed implementation of FAS 168 to periods ending after September. Basically I am looking to know if I need to get this done immediately or if I can hold off until year end.
Answer: The short answer is NO. There is no delay in the effective date of the codification. However, doing a quick search of the FEI website using the keyword "codification" gave me several resources in this are.
