Treasury, IRS Extend Transition Relief For Deferred Comp Plans

On Oct. 22, 2007, the U.S. Treasury Department issued this press release stating that the Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) announced in Notice 2007-86 that the transition relief for compliance with the final regulations under section 409A of the Internal Revenue Code (409A) has been extended generally for one year.
