Staff Changes Announced at FASB

On June 2, 2008, the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) announced that Linda McDonald, Director of Planning & Support at FASB is leaving to take a job in the private sector in July.

Sue Bielstein (Director, Major Projects and Technical Activities) will assume McDonald’s position.

Russ Golden will become Technical Director (an expanded role from his current role).

Ron Lott will become Research Director, a newly created position, including overall responsibility for the Conceptual Framework project and for research activities, including FASB’s new Financial Accounting Standards Research Initiative.

Kevin Stoklosa and Peter Proestakes will become Assistant Directors, a newly created position that will support Golden. Danielle Zeyher will assist Golden on “people” and communication matters, in addition to her regular project manager responsibilities.
