On Jun. 1, 2009, Financial Executives International filed a comment letter with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regarding credit rating agencies and their regulatory oversight. The letter was submitted in response to a roundtable discussion on April 15, 2009, hosted by the SEC regarding the oversight of credit rating agencies. In conjunction with the roundtable, the SEC asked for comments from the public regarding topics addressed at the roundtable. FEI’s Committee on Corporate Treasury (CCT) contributed to the letter.
