FEI Survey: Average 2007 SOX Compliance Cost $1.7 Million
-Audit Fees Show Slight Increase to $3.6 Million-
-More Companies See Benefit, Note Positive Changes to Audit-
Florham Park, N.J. – April 30, 2008 – Financial Executives International (FEI) announced today the results of its seventh Sarbanes-Oxley compliance survey, which found that Section 404 compliance cost Corporate American less in year four of adoption than in each of the first three years. FEI polled 185 companies to gauge expenses in complying with Section 404. The responding companies had average annual revenues of $4.7 billion
