eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) is a global electronic standard for defining financial terms consistently, allowing for the exchange and dissemination of corporate reporting information.
FEI's Committee on Finance and Information Technology (CFIT) has identified one of its key initiatives as working to educate members on the future benefits of XBRL.
