On May 26, 2009 the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation, an independent and nonpartisan organization formed in 2006, perhaps best known for its Nov. 30, 2006 Interim Report, issued a new report, The Global Financial Crisis: A Plan for Regulatory Reform.
