M. ALEXIS DOW
2nd Past Chair
Alexis Dow, CPA, is currently a Director at RGL – Forensic Accountants & Consultants, in the firm’s Portland office. Ms. Dow has more than 30 years diversified management experience, including 13 years combined auditing experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte & Touche, and 18 years as a board member and audit committee chair for Longview Fibre Company, a NYSE manufacturing company. For the past 12 years, she also served as an elected auditor for Metro, the Portland region’s elected government.
Ms. Dow served as National Chairman of Financial Executives International from 2007-08, and currently serves as a member of the Board. She is a member and former Board member of the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Since 2000, she has received eight top national awards from the Association of Local Government Auditors, including best audit report and best innovative project. Active in community service, she is Audit Committee Chair and Board member of the Oregon Health Sciences University Medical Group and a member of the Audit Committee of the Multnomah Athletic Club and the Energy Trust of Oregon.
Ms. Dow is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island.
