FEI Sends Additional Comments To IASB On IFRS for SMEs

FEI Summary

FEI’s Committee on Private Companies (CPC) standards subcommittee sent a followup letter to the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) in response to the IASB’s Exposure Draft of proposed International Financial Reporting Standards for Small and Medium Sized Entities (IFRS for SMEs). The letter, dated Nov. 30, 2007, continued to express support for the IFRS for SMEs project, as noted in FEI CPC’s original comment letter filed Sept. 27, 2007, and raised additional issues. Both letters were signed by FEI CPC standards subcommittee chair William Koch. Koch is Vice President and CFO, Development Dimensions International, Inc.
