Financial Executive has won a series of national juried awards in competitions open to the business press in recent years, attesting to the quality of the magazine in relation to its peers. These include:

• 2000 – Regional gold award, National silver award for article design from the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE)
• 2001 – Gold Circle award, American Society of Association Executives, cover article March 2001
• 2002 – Regional gold award, special section, ASBPE
• 2003 – Gold award as top trade publication, Association Trends
• 2004 – Two silver awards in design, Trade Association Business Publications International (”Tabbies”)
