Mission
To identify, evaluate and communicate international financial issues of interest to FEI members; to represent the news and opinions of FEI members on international issues and policies regarding international financial reporting, auditing standards and corporate governance; and, to provide forums for peer interaction and discussion about emerging and current financial issues.

Objective
To create opportunities for the FEI membership to share best international business practices, to engage in an international business network, to follow a common code of ethics and to play an advocacy role in front of international regulatory bodies.

Advocacy & Issues
Working in close coordination with the FEI Technical Committees, the GOC monitors emerging international financial reporting issues through participation on the IAASB Consultative Advisory Group (CAG) and the United National Conference on Trade Development (UNCTAD).
