FEI's Small Public Company Task Force is presently made up of 12 members, however that number will likely increase given the interest of our members. The task force members are from smaller public companies and their primary goal is to form FEI's opinion on general matters relating to small public companies. It was started in May of 2005 after the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) formed its Advisory Committee on Smaller Public Companies.
The task force has monitored activities of the SEC Advisory Committee and the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations (COSO), as well as other appropriate entities. The task force has communicated with these entities to state its opinion on regulatory and standard-setting issues. Read more about FEI's work with COSO here. |
